Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in coordination with the Bundeswehr Command Headquarters in Reston Va. had nine Soldiers complete the 12 Kilometer Road March in time to be awarded the Gold German Armed Forces Proficiency badge Sept. 28. The Soldiers completed all tasks prior to the culminating Ruck March event to include the pistol qualification, shot put, swim testing, 1000 and 100 meter runs.
