Col. Allen Dunlow Retires After 31 Years
There was a retirement and retreat ceremony in honor of Col. Allen Dunlow May 26.
Dunlow had a rewarding career. Some of the highlights include being assigned to the United States Army Medical Materiel Center Europe as the Comptroller in May 1990. While in Europe, he supported Operation Desert Shield/Storm. In 1998, he was assigned to Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, Md. After only 14 months at WRAIR, he was reassigned to the Army Surgeon General?s staff as a financial analyst. He served on the Surgeon General?s staff as Chief, Financial Policy Division until October 2005 Before Dunlow retired, he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management (G-8), U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, Fort Detrick, Md.
