Students participating in USAARL's Gains in the Education of Math and Science Program's (GEMS) Inaugural Summer at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. The GEMS program is a unique opportunity for middle school students to expose themselves to math and science in an atmosphere that is fun, interactive and engaging.

USAARL is one of three GEMS expansion sights as the USAMRMC grows its GEMS programs as a part of the United States Army's STEM initiatives this year. USAARL joins USAMRMC's two flagship programs at the WRAIR and Ft. Detrick.
