Capt. Jeffrey Froude attends WWII memorial event in France
Capt. Jeffrey Froude, U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command's 71B
ESEP officer in France, attended a WWII memorial event in France. The event
was to remember the operation that liberated the Rhone Valley and southern
France. Additionally, the French placed a memorial plaque on the spot where
one U.S. pilot lost his life protecting the area, 2nd Lt. William Clark.
Froude has been building bridges of friendship as well as establishing and strengthening important scientific collaborations during his two year tour in France. He'll be returning to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases later this year.
