USAMMCE Soldiers Earn Belgian Military Sports Badge

On 22 June, in Cologne, Germany, Sgt. 1st Class Robert White and Sgt. 1st Class Manuel Mendoza of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center, Europe, both earned the Belgian Military Sports badge in silver.
The Belgian Military Sports badge competition is administered by Belgian and German Military personnel and is offered to the U.S. military.
The competition consisted of 1 minute of push-ups, 1 minute of sit-ups, and a 2400-meter run. Repetitions per minute were based on age group and gender.
White said that he missed earning a gold badge by just 3 seconds in the run.
Both soldiers received a pin and a certificate.
