The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center, Europe provided pre-deployment training to 20 Soldiers from the 8th Material Logistics Company Jan. 22-31. USAMMCE warehouse personnel trained the Soldiers on warehouse operations to include Receiving, Picking, Put Away, Packing, Transportation, Reefer, and HAZMAT. In addition to the warehouse training, the group also spent some time in the Customer Support Division to gain a better understanding of how the ordering process works.

The Soldiers were divided into small groups of 2-3 and were rotated throughout the warehouse daily. The USAMMCE trainers provided them with step-by-step hands-on training and quizzing them to test their understanding of the different processes.

Everyone agreed that the training was worthwhile and provided valuable information to all Soldiers and Non-commissioned Officers that attended.
