USAMRMC Commanding General Visits USAMMCE

Command and Fort Detrick, presented a retirement certificate and award to Luis DeAndrade,
former chief of the Humanitarian Assistance Program, pictured with wife Heike DeAndrade and

As part of his European tour, Maj. Gen. Brian C. Lein, commanding general of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and Fort Detrick, visited the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center, Europe Jan. 26.
Lein spent the afternoon at USAMMCE where he was given the USAMMCE Command and Relocation briefing and a tour of USAMMCE's different areas. After the briefing, Lein presented coins to select USAMMCE employees and a retirement certificate and award to Luis DeAndrade, the former chief of the Humanitarian Assistance Program. DeAndrade retired Dec. 31 2014.
Lein's visit to USAMMCE concluded with a tour through the Kaiserslautern Army Depot, the relocation site for USAMMCE.
