Bertram recognized as honorary medical logistician
The U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command's Principal Assistant for
Acquisition Dr. Kenneth A. Bertram (left) received the distinction of "honorary
medical logistician" April 13, presented by Col. David R. Gibson (right), the
U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency Commander & Medical Acquisition Consultant to
the Surgeon General. Becoming an Army medical logistician typically takes years.
The honor recognizes Dr. Bertram's recent completion of an "intense, five-day,
didactic, and practical application course for medical logistics" while transiting
medical organizations supporting the Army's generating and operating forces
throughout the Korean Theater of Operations.
