On May 5, Maryland federal employees gathered in Baltimore to honor awardees of the Baltimore Federal Executive Board's 50th Annual Excellence in Federal Career Awards.
Fort Detrick and U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command had 24 employees/teams honored for their work at the ceremony. The Excellence in Federal Career Awards is held annually in conjunction with Public Service Recognition Week and highlights the extraordinary contributions made by Maryland's most deserving public sector employees.
The FEB established by Presidential Directive in 1961, are a forum for communication and collaboration among federal agencies outside of Washington, DC.
