Research Opportunities

The U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command funds a broad range of extramural research programs. Awards are usually contracts, grants, or cooperative agreements.

Researchers who want to work with the Command can submit proposals through the USAMRDC Broad Agency Announcement, which is continuously open, or through Program Announcements (PAs), which are open for limited timeframes. Examples of current program announcement topics are the Breast Cancer Research Program, the Prostate Cancer Research Program, and Gulf War Illness.

Research proposals are submitted through the Grants.gov web site. Additional information on the BAA, the PAs, and other resources can be obtained at the USAMRAA web site.
