Effective 1 July 2022, ORP is changing its name! The USAMRDC Office of Research Protections will be called the USAMRDC Office of Human and Animal Research Oversight (OHARO). Also, the ORP's Human Research Protection Office will be called the OHARO's Office of Human Research Oversight. ORP's name change is necessary to more clearly tell the story of our mission critical functions to enable key research within the command. The name change will also reduce confusion with other offices with similar acronyms, such as the USAMRDC Office of Regulated Activities (ORA).
