The National Interagency Confederation for Biological Research Strategic Kick-Off event was held at the Community Activities Center Fort Detrick, Md. Nov. 2. NICBR representatives presented a synopsis of their respective agencies and discussed the most significant accomplishments of NICBR subcommittees and working groups. Maj. Gen. James K. Gilman, commander of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, provided the opening presentation to those in attendance.
